The outside of the lodges are clad in larch strips. Combining this with a unique curved roof design creates a very distinctive and contemporary look while still blending into the natural habitat.
Our Surroundings
Brompton Lakes' lodges in North Yorkshire are set in a place of natural beauty with two lakes and are nestled into a bend in the River Swale. It was always our ethos to embrace the environment so as well as planting a large number of indigenous species of trees on site, along with shrubs and wild flowers, we’ve also installed bird and bat boxes and created an otter holt on the island in the eastern lake. By diversifying the various wildlife habitats, we hope we have also created a fascinating and beautiful environment where people and wildlife can happily co-exist.
